What a successful weekend. We finished lifting the roof! After less than a day of cutting the framing and wiring, we used two floor jacks that held a 6ft beam to push up the roof. We slowly raised the jacks at the same time, which only took us only about 30mins. The four welded braces are holding it up better than I thought it would, and was only a 1/16 of an inch off. The bus is now 11ft 2 inches tall, with an inside height of 7ft 10 inches. We finished patching up the holes in the floor that use to hold the bus seats intact. We used fiberglass to patch the large holes, and silicone for the smaller holes. Next up to fill all the gaps. Ordering the steal tubing for the framing, and galvannealed sheet metal for the skin next week. STOKED!
